Because we are a nonprofit, volunteer organization we operate solely on funds and resources received by donations, grants, or sponsorship fees.  Without fundraising and volunteers - we cannot survive.  

We currently need additional volunteers and resources for the rescue. It is people like you that help make our mission more successful.  We are a non-profit rescue and as such donations are tax deductible.  If you are in need of service hours, we are happy to document those for you as well. No experience is necessary, but some tasks may be labor intensive.  Please understand though your help is greatly appreciated.  

One of the goals of our organization is to provide education to people that may be considering getting a horse. Volunteering at Equine Eden is a great way to evaluate if getting a horse is right for you (please click on individuals to find our more about assisting us with caring for our current rescues). Unfortunately there are no riding possibilities at Equine Eden - the majority of horses received at EE need rehabilitation from injury or sickness. However, we do work with several local stables that provide riding lessons if you are interested in learning or improving your riding skills.
